  • Are you experiencing problems with digestion, sleep, inflammation, or stress/anxiety?

  • Are you lacking energy, feeling run down, or experiencing difficulty losing weight?

  • Have you been to provider after provider only to feel alone, unheard, and still struggling with the same problems?

  • Do you want to be in control of your healthcare and start living the life you know could be possible if you just did not have (fill in the blank)?

Julie Smith Taylor is a nurse herbalist, equine experiential coach, and yoga practitioner. Through the synergistic interaction between herbs, horse, and yoga, Julie guides clients through interactive experiences to reclaim and restore their authentic selves.

As a bridge walker between the allopathic and complementary health care systems, Julie is uniquely qualified to provide guidance around lifestyle, diet, and herbal remedies that work with a client’s existing “health and wellness” framework.

Combining nursing, herbalism, and coaching, Julie offers a unique, holistic approach to health and self-care.

Integrative Solutions for Health unites a beautiful combination of healing modalities designed to balance and enhance your mental, emotional, and physical health.  While engaging in any single modality (herbs, horses, reflexology, or yoga) will bring overall balance to the body and the mind, the synergistic interplay among multiple modalities can be life-changing and transformational.

Book a session today to start your journey toward better physical, mental, and emotional health.

  • Unfortunately, while herbs are great catalysts for change and can bring balance to the body, my approach is to look at lifestyle and dietary adjustments first. Once you address any imbalances in lifestyle (stress, sleep, relationships, work, responsibilities) and make some dietary modifications, we might decide together that the incorporation of simple herbs could support you the best. It is my philosophy that you partner with herbs and plants to help the body back to equilibrium.

  • First and foremost, Julie understands medical diseases, diagnostic testing (like labs), standard treatments, and common medications that might be a part of your current health situation. As a result, Julie is uniquely qualified to guide you in selecting complementary modalities that can enhance your current health status. This type of experience is rare in our current healthcare system and truly makes the incorporation of herbs into your self-care plan safe and attainable.

  • Julie maintains a license as a Nurse and approval to practice as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of North Carolina as well as national certification as a Women’s Health NP through the National Certification Corporation.

  • Absolutely not! In my system of self-care and healing, there is room for all modalities. I will NEVER ask you to stop taking medication or treatments prescribed by another licensed healthcare provider. If our work together on lifestyle, diet, and simple herbs changes your health status in any way, your healthcare provider may decide that you no longer need medication and that person will ALWAYS make the decisions regarding a medication or treatment that her or she prescribed.
